Plaid's Awards

📖 REALM Award - First class distinction from the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)! Out of 421 entries nationwide, Plaid was one of only 125 to receive this honor and one of just 7 in Pennsylvania. Judges praised the strength of ideas, originality, artistic quality, and editorial vision. 

🎨 ASPA Awards - First Place with Special Merit from the American Scholastic Press Association plus special recognition as the Most Outstanding Private School Literary, Art Magazine! Plaid earned 960 out of 1000 points, an A+ for design, creativity, and content.

🥈 CSPA Silver Crown - Awarded by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association in NYC! This is Plaid's first Crown Award since 2016, a major national recognition for overall excellence; in student publications. Faculty advisor Mr. Krause traveled to the Big Apple to accept the award on the team's behalf!
